Petitioner filed a workers compensation claim for injuries she sustained in an automobile accident while en route to her home from her place of employment. The workers compensation judge found that the injury occurred in the course of employment but the board, on reconsideration, determined that the homeward trip was governed by the normal "going and coming" rule and vacated the judges decision. Petitioner seeks review and annulment of the boards decision. We have decided that the circumstances of this case bring it within the dual purpose exception to the "going and coming" rule and that the boards decision should be annulled.
